📖 History & Description
Baba Atal Sahib is an octagonal tower (often called Baba Atal Tower) adjacent to the Golden Temple precinct, built as a memorial to Baba Atal Rai — son of Guru Hargobind. The tower contains frescoes and miniature galleries; it has become a distinctive vertical landmark near the Harmandir Sahib and is used for devotional displays and educational exhibits about local Sikh hagiography.
