📖 History & Description

Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is associated with Guru Har Krishan (the eighth Sikh Guru) who stayed at the bungalow (Bangla) of Raja Jai Singh during a visit to Delhi; the site commemorates his healing of plague victims. The current complex features a large sarovar (holy pool), a domed sanctum, a community kitchen that feeds thousands daily, and educational and medical services.
