Fatehgarh Sahib memorialises the 1705 martyrdom of the two younger Sahibzadas (sons of Guru Gobind Singh) who were bricked alive by Mughal authorities in Sirhind. The complex contains several monuments and gurdwaras, including the Bhora Sahib and other shrines for remembrance. It is a site of pilgrimage, annual commemoration and community gatherings focusing on martyrdom and sacrifice in Sikh history.
