📖 History & Description

Manji Sahib (Alamgir Sahib) marks a place where Guru Gobind Singh paused while moving through the Punjab after the tragic events surrounding the martyrdom of his family and the hard years of conflict. The complex includes memorial rooms, a sanctum and inscriptions describing the Guru's stay and local acts of devotion and assistance by residents. It is maintained as a historical and devotional place with annual remembrances.
