📖 History & Description

Patal Puri (and associated small shrines in the Anandpur area) are part of a network of memorials that mark specific acts, encampments and battles of Guru Gobind Singh and his followers. They include small sanctums, memorial plaques and serve as stop points for local pilgrimages and remembrances of the Khalsa struggle and formation.
