⭐ Significance
One of the Five Takhts; site of Guru Gobind Singh's passing and cremation.
📖 History & Description
Hazur Sahib (Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib) stands on the banks of the Godavari river at Nanded. It marks the angitha (cremation place) of Guru Gobind Singh Ji who died in 1708. The present marble-and-ornamented complex was developed under royal patronage (including Maharaja Ranjit Singh's era contributions) and later restorations. Architecturally it blends Indo-Sikh features and includes the Angitha Sahib (inner sanctum built over the cremation place), museum exhibits and community facilities that serve pilgrims year-round.
